What Is Advent?
Purpose of Daily Readings

Join us for a beautiful Christmas Eve candlelight service filled with carols, Scripture readings, special music, and a message of hope and salvation. Bring your family and friends as we reflect on the miracle of Christ's birth and light candles to symbolize the light of Christ shining in the darkness. There will be a special story for HopeKids and a glow stick candle
The Christmas Eve Service begins at 7:00 pm. Celebrate the official start of Christmas as we light the Christ Candle of the Advent Wreath.

The traditional Story told in a most untraditional way. Come see the kids of HopeKids, along with the youth of HopeYouth, tell the story of the Nativity of Christ, as told by a Newscaster on the nightly news and a couple of reporters.

National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day is a fun, unofficial holiday celebrated on the third Friday of December, which in 2025 falls on December 19th. It's a day to wear your most tacky, festive, and outlandish holiday sweaters, and it originated in 2011 to celebrate the joy of these unique garments, becoming an international phenomenon since. Participate in Hope Church’s Online Ugly Sweater Day by wearing an ugly sweater all day and getting a picture of you wearing the Ugly Sweater. Take a group photo or a selfie, then send your picture using the email link below.
A video montage of all the pictures will be presented on Sunday, December 21st.
